March 6-7, 2008 Arkansas Snowstorm
Much of Arkansas recieved accumulating snows. Some of the heaviest snow total were in Stone County (reported 18 inches) and Southern Sebasatian County (12 inches) but much of West Central (south of Fort Smith) through North Central had heavy accumulatings snows of greater than 5 inches.
We recieved 8-9 inches of total snow accumulation (1600 feet at 7 miles NE of Ozark) and here are a few pics from around our house
Before the roads got too bad I drove down the mountain from our house about halfway to Ozark where the elevation was less than 800 feet and made a movie coming back up showing the difference in snow as elevation increased.
